Donald Trump has renewed plans to reinstate a travel ban against six majority-Muslim countries on Monday, in the wake of the terrorist attack in London over the weekend.
In a series of tweets, he hit out at the US Justice Department’s decision to block his original travel ban and reiterated plans to vet everyone coming into the US.
People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want, but I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!

The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.

In any event we are EXTREME VETTING people coming into the U.S. in order to help keep our country safe. The courts are slow and political!

Trump originally issued an executive order at the beginning of this year, restricting entry to the US from Iran, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Libya and Syria. The hastily-implemented policy caused havoc at US airports as passengers from those countries were denied entry into America and after international uproar the travel ban was blocked by federal courts in Maryland and Hawaii.
Trump has since been criticised for using the attack in London, in which seven people died and a further 48 were injured, to push his travel ban agenda. Immediately after the attack he hit out at London mayor Sadiq Khan in a tweet.
At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is “no reason to be alarmed!”
