LendIt has announced the online lending and FinTech companies shortlisted for the final round of the PitchIt@LendIt competition. The eight selected companies will deliver a business pitch to a panel of expert judges at the LendIt Europe 2016 conference, which will be held in London next week.
The finalists are Credit Kudos, GIROMATCH, KASKO, Lenderwize Ltd, LendingWell, PesaZetu, Selified and Vester AS.
According to LendIt, this year’s finalists “reflect the diversity of the Fintech ecosystem, with representation from anti-fraud biometrics platforms, alternative credit scoring, mobile lending and more.”
The competition is organised in collaboration between LendIt, the currently biggest conference series on peer-to-peer lending, and information-based lending company, Capital One.
All eight finalists will receive coaching before next week’s event, as well as individual mentoring from industry leaders. The overall winner will be determined by a panel composed of industry experts, including Amy Lenander, Managing VP and CMO, Capital One, UK; Nadeem Shaikh, Founder and CEO, Anthemis Group; Ravi Anand, Managing Director, ESF Capital; and Simon Atkinson, Director, Liberum Alternative Finance. The winner will receive further mentoring within a personalised company development plan, provided in association with the Capital One Growth Lab, a partnership venture between Capital One and L Marks to support developments in innovative financial technology through the “access of expertise and capabilities”.

LendIt Europe 2016 will be held in London the coming week
LendIt Europe 2016, which will be the platform for the final stage of the competition, will be held at the InterContinental London at The O2 from the 10th to the 11th of October. It will be the third European Peer-to-Peer lending conference held by LendIt and is expected to attract more than 1000 industry professionals.
Over 150 speakers will deliver talks on current issues of interest to the industry in more than 50 topical sessions, while a 2500m expo hall will offer companies the chance to display their businesses.
