Four London music festivals to try this summer

If you’re not one of the lucky few who secured a ticket for Glastonbury this year, don’t worry.

We’ve collated some of the best summer music festivals across the capital to try this summer.

And what’s more, you can leave the pop-up tent behind.

LoveBox

The two-day festival in the heart of East London will see a range of genres and music heavyweights take to the stage including Jamie XX, Frank Ocean and Brit Award winner Rag ‘N’ Bone Man. This veteran festival has been running since its conception by Groove Armada in 2002 and shows no signs of slowing down just yet.

Field Day

A relative new comer on the London festival scene, Field Day is fast becoming one of the most vibrant music attractions in the capital. If you’re a fan of alternative acts and a more intimate crowd, make your way to Victoria Park to see Midland, Aphex Twin and British rap artist Lady Leshurr.

Wireless Festival

Spanning across three days this July, Wireless festival continues to attract big names and even larger crowds. This summer see North London grime artist Skepta take to the stage, as well as Chance the Rapper and The Weeknd headline.

Ceremony Festival

After a year hiatus, Ceremony festival is back at a new location in Haggerston Park. Featuring an assortment of house, techno, grime and garage DJs on the day, it’s the perfect end to the summer season. This year’s line up includes: Artful Dodger, Crazy Cousinz and Miguel Campbell.
