Ryanair profits for the end the financial year have taken a hit due to pound devaluation.

Passenger numbers at Ryanair jumped 2,470% in May.

Numbers increased from just 70,000 people last year to 1.8m this year.

Michael O’Leary told Sky News: “Fares have been lower than they have ever been before because we don’t have the normal advanced bookings already in the system for June, July and August.”

“People who have been locked up in Britain and Ireland are bursting to go on holidays,” he added.
