Hoping to get 2017 off to a healthy start, but finding it difficult? Say hello to Rejuvenation Water, Crowdcube’s latest health start-up hoping to raise £150,000 in the next month.
Using Staffordshire spring water, natural fruit flavours and amino acids – the building blocks of protein – Rejuvenation Water has grown quickly since its launch and is already stocked by leading wholesalers and distributors.
Having opened up over 150 retail listings in the first 9 months of trading, they are soon to launch with Holland & Barrett and are also in late stage discussions with another major UK retailer.
Providing a low-sugar alternative to most soft drinks on the market, founder and CEO Kris Ingham hopes to use a ‘business to business’ model, alongside an e-commerce facility via the website and have sold via Amazon.
“Rejuvenation Water has ambitious plans to expand throughout the UK and worldwide. In 2017, the business will be targeting £200k of revenue and aiming to increase store listings from the current 150 to 500. We have seen interest from abroad, so servicing this interest will be among the aims for 2017.”
Funds raised via Crowdcube will be used for new product development, growth and activation of new and existing listings, as well as expansion into overseas markets.
“We are working towards an exit in year 5, as acquisitions are currently significant in the FMCG market by larger multinationals. Innocent’s exit to Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) is a prime example of this, with Innocent selling several tranches to Coca-Cola, the last of which valued Innocent in the region of £320m.” describes Ingham on Crowdcube.
Based in South West London, Rejuvenation Water shows great potential having already collaborated with brands such as Ted Baker (LON:TED) and Virgin Media (NASDAQ:VMED). They were also awarded a Great Taste Award by the Fine Food Guild in July 2016.
Rejuvenation Water has raised over £50,000 of their £150,000 target and has 23 days left on Crowdcube.
